**The
Music Department is collecting aluminum cans for recycling. Money raised will be
used to purchase drums. Students can bring their cans to the Music Room.
**Gentry
Public Schools Technology Department recycles inkjet cartridges and cell phones.
***When
it becomes necessary to close school due to inclement weather or any other
unexpected reason, the local radio and TV stations will be notified and an
announcement will be made. The main page of the school website at www.gentrypioneers.com
will also have closing information. Please discuss in advance with your
children what you expect them to do if school has to be released early for any
reason. The phone lines get extremely busy on those days and it can be
difficult to get through to the office. Please leave a message on the
answering machine if the phone lines are tied up
