School Board

At Gentry Public Schools, the school board plays a vital role in shaping the district's direction and policies. Comprised of elected community members, the board is tasked with setting the district’s vision and goals while ensuring that the educational needs of all students are met. Their responsibilities include approving the district budget, establishing policies for school operations, overseeing compliance with state and federal education laws, and hiring and evaluating the superintendent.

The day-to-day management of the district is handled by building and district administration. Please direct your concerns to the designated staff or administrators, as school board members are not the appropriate contacts for voicing grievances. You can easily find contact information for administrators on our website, and we encourage stakeholders to reach out to the appropriate school staff member with any questions or concerns.

Regular board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, with special meetings convened as needed to address timely school matters. School board information is accessible through the links provided on this page.
