Superintendent Dr. Tyler Broyles was joined by several students for a visit to iHeartRadio station to record the latest version of the school district's ads on KIX 104. The students created ads that will be rotated throughout the year to represent our wonderful schools. Participating students include Avery Edmondson, Wade Brown, Emery Brown, and Easton Wiseman. Gentry High School student, Kacie Wood, participated in the 2024 University of Oklahoma Band Day. Kacie joined over 900 high school students from 150 regional high schools. Our staff spotlight this week is our GHS Teacher of the Year, Rebecca Tingley. Mrs. Tingley teaches science at GHS. She is in her 27th year of teaching. Congratulations to Mrs. Tingley on her accomplishments!

Good Afternoon, we would like to Announce our Chromebook Protection Plan Insurance is now available to purchase through our Online School Payment System (OSP)
Gentry Public Schools offers an optional Chromebook Protection Plan (CPP). The CPP will cover a single accidental incident of damage to the device assigned to your child. This plan does NOT cover malicious, non-accidental damage, or loss. Students who wish to opt out of the CPP will be required to pay for any repairs to their Chromebook that are not from normal wear and tear. Chromebook chargers are not covered under this plan. Please do not use aftermarket non UL or ETL listed Chromebook chargers. We highly recommend that you look into purchasing this plan for your students' device.

Many may have heard about an alleged threat against schools in Northwest Arkansas. We wanted to assure families that the local police departments have declared there to be no credible threat to any schools. There is no recommended action for schools to take. We are sharing simply to address concerns.
