If you plan to celebrate, please be careful and have fun! We will see you at school tomorrow. Go Pioneers!

Gentry Middle School students Addison Knight and Tyler Fox had an exciting day at the iHeart Media Radio Station, recording the latest ads for Gentry Public Schools just in time for the holiday season! They explored state-of-the-art radio equipment and got a firsthand look at the broadcasting and editing process that brings radio content to life. We love sending our students to the station to help with our ads!

We are excited to share the launch of our new Bus Aide Pilot Program! This initiative will place staff members on select afternoon bus routes, enhancing supervision and ensuring a safer environment for our students during their rides home. Currently, our plan is to rotate select bus aides as needed per bus, with the potential to expand the program as we monitor its progress and gauge interest from other staff members.
Alongside this initiative, we are also implementing our new CSSO program, completing our key system, enhancing our door access controls, and introducing proactive bullying prevention measures. These steps collectively represent our commitment to improving safety and security in the education of our students.
Remember, we’re here to assist you! Administrator and staff contact information can be found conveniently on our website at www.gentrypioneers.com. Please reach out through the appropriate channels if you have questions or concerns, so we can provide you with timely and accurate information. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to create a safer environment for everyone!

To all of our first responders, thank you!

This week's teacher spotlight is Thomas Clement. Mr. Clement began his teaching career in Gentry and currently serves as a GMS English Teacher and MCL. Mr. Clement works extremely hard to serve the needs of all students and to support his fellow department members. He is a true asset to Gentry Public Schools. Go Pioneers!

We have our very 1st Coffee With The Counselors tomorrow morning October 23 at 8:30am! Counselors from all buildings will be presenting at the Gentry Middle/High School Cafeteria on bullying. We will have donuts and Ember Mountain coffee to go alongside important community conversations! This is a wonderful event for any families who want to hear directly from school counselors about what we can do as a community to help. We hope to see you there!
